Chelsea eyeing shock move for former Blues striker – Report

Chelsea are reportedly considering a shock move for former forward Daniel Sturridge in the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old who currently playing for Liverpool and finding game time at Merseyside to come by this season so far.

According to the Daily Mail claims that Sturridge is one of the several options been eyeing by Antonio Conte for next month transfer business as the Premier League defending champions looks to offload Michy Batshuayi.

England international signed for the Reds from the Blues in a region of £12 million in 2013 January but has since struggled with injuries, featuring in fewer than half of the side’s league games during that time.

Sturridge is said to be open to leave Jurgen Klopp side with a host of clubs like AC Milan, Valencia and Real Betis all thought to be keen for the striker.
