Arsenal v Chelsea Kolasinac out, Ozil & Koscielny doubts

Arsenal may be without five key players on Wednesday when they face Premier League Champions Chelsea with Sead Kolasinac already ruled out.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger revealed the latest team news ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League clash as Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny emerged injury doubts for EPL showdown at the Emirates stadium.

The Gunners’ boss provided updates on Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny, Sead Kolasinac, Nacho Monreal and Aaron Ramsey.

“At the moment our injury list is quite long, because we lost Kolasinac in the West Brom game and Koscielny. We had already Monreal, Giroud, Ramsey, Ozil out. Who will be available tomorrow?

“The two who have a little chance are Ozil, who might have a test this morning – but he hasn’t been out at all since Crystal Palace, so I don’t know. With Koscielny, yesterday the medical staff were pessimistic about him.

“Sead has hurt his ankle, he is out – it could settle in a week, or two weeks. It is not long term.

“Koscielny is the achilles again, it flared up. Yesterday the signs were not too encouraging. He is 30 per cent available, 70 per cent not.

“Nacho is still out, he should be a couple of weeks. Ramsey as well. He could target Chelsea in the League Cup.” Wenger told the Gunners’ website

Alex Iwobi and his team-mates trained at a wet and windy London Colney on Tuesday with members of the under-23s featuring Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah.
